			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>One of the reasons many of us put off our dreams is the perception that we can’t enjoy our dreams right here right now. Guess what you can!<br />
Creating and living the life of your dreams includes both <em>reaching</em> your ‘dream destination’ AND enjoying the <em>journey</em> along the way. (I am constantly reminding myself of this).<br />
This is one of the life-recipes I love to share at my events and workshops, to give my audience a taste, right here right now, how simple it can be to cook up your dreams come true.<br />
There are so many ways to live your dream life, <em>including</em> enjoying the bite-sized steps you take along the way<br />
Try the <strong>Dreams Start Now</strong> recipe to discover how instant it can be to create your dreams. Remember this is your precious life after all.</p>

<li>Choose to do this recipe on your own, with a friend or during an event or workshop. You can share your dreams with your friend or person sitting next to you at the end of the exercise.</li>
</ol>
<h2>I N S T R U C T I O N S</h2>
<h3>HOW TO COOK UP YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE</h3>
<ol>
<li>On a blank piece of paper, write down 10 things you’d love to do in this lifetime. Don’t hold back. If it’s that dream home or holiday you want then go for it. If it’s conquering your fears or creating your dream job, put that on the list too. Whatever the dreams big and small, write down the first 10 things that come to mind, resonate with your heart and make you feel good at the thought of fulfilling these 10 dream things.
<li>Now put a circle around five things you’d love to do sooner rather than later.</li>
<p><strong>turn up the heat</strong></li>
<li>Now put a tick next to just three of the things you’d like to focus on first (from the five circled).</li>
<p><strong>ready to eat</strong></li>
<li>Time to grab your highlighter and select just one of the things from the circled list that you want to do or start this year.</li>
<li>If you are doing this recipe with a friend or at an event or workshop, now would be the time to share your dream. Tell your friend the one thing you are going to do this year. You may even want to offer suggestions to each other about how you can get started on creating your dream.</li>
<p><strong>make bite-size list</strong></li>
<li>Now make a list of ways to take bite-sized action steps towards your dream. For example if it’s a holiday you want, deciding who to travel with and where and when to visit might be part of your action. If it’s a new job you want, then add my ‘Dream Job’ recipe to your action plan. If you want to pursue a hobby you’ve always loved, you could give yourself a deadline to finish your first project or enrol in your first course or workshop. Whatever action steps you take, know that they are all steps towards living the life of your dreams right here right now.

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>My life is incredibly different today than it was several years ago, simply by allowing myself to dream whilst taking bite size steps along the way.<br />
No matter how far you think you are from your dreams, allowing yourself to believe is the first step to seeing them realized.<br />
Creating my book Recipes for Everyday Life is one of my dreams realized.<br />
The purpose of this Dream Life recipe is to relish your imagination and get courageous in the life kitchen. Don&#8217;t over analyze or judge how your baking turns out, just let yourself dream. Let whatever arises in your imagination to be there.<br />
Use the recipe whenever you want to dream on your dreams, add new things to your life, gain clarity or spice things up a bit.</p>
<h2>L I F E   C H E F&#8217;S   T I P</h2>
<p>A quick way to start making changes in your life is to create a shopping list. List what you love about your life now, then list the things you want to change or add. Don&#8217;t feel you have to clean out your cupboards all at once, simply choose one thing to add or take out.</p>

<li>Get comfy in the kitchen or quiet spot generally.</li>
<li>On a fresh page in your notebook write &lsquo;Creating My Dream Life&rsquo; and date the page.</li>
</ol>
<h2>I N S T R U C T I O N S</h2>
<h3>HOW TO COOK UP YOUR IDEAL LIFE</h3>
<ol>
<li>Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths in and out. Let yourself become more relaxed with each new breath. Allow any thoughts or feelings to arise. Toss the thoughts out with each new breath.<br /><strong>turn on your imagination</strong></li>
<li>Imagine you are in a picture of nature anywhere in the world. The beach, a rainforest, anywhere. Explore and enjoy being there. Imagine you can smell, taste and touch nature around you.</li>
<li>Imagine you are a child now in that picture of nature. Have fun being a child again.</li>
<li>Now imagine a huge fluffy marshmallow hovering above your head. Choose to rise and become part of that marshmallow. Let yourself get all oozy in its texture. Let the marshmallow take you somewhere. Let it take you to your dream life. Allow yourself to feel light and free as you float to your dream life.<br />
<strong>turn up the heat</strong></li>
<li>Once the music stops you can choose to either stop the task for this session or select another soundtrack and keep going. Whatever you decide, commit to seeing the activity through to the end of the soundtrack.</li>
<li>When you arrive, step off your marshmallow and in to your dream life. Imagine you are an adult now. It may be you as you are today or older. Spend a couple of minutes letting your image simmer gently before your eyes.</li>
<li>What are you doing, what are you wearing, how are you behaving? Where are you? What does your dream life look like, taste like and smell like? Who else is in your dream life?</li>
<li>When you feel your mind becoming full, open your eyes and write everything you saw, felt, touched, smelt, heard and sensed. Don&#8217;t stop, don&#8217;t analyze, just write. Some images will be quite literal, whilst others may be a symbol for something more. Keep writing until you feel complete.<br />
<strong>take out of the oven — add garnishes</strong></li>
<li>Read over your notes. Does any of it need reheating or interpreting? Write further notes if you need to. Know this is the life you would really love to savour for breakfast, lunch and dinner.<br />
<strong>ready to taste</strong></li>
<li>You are now ready to start taking bite size steps towards making your dream life part of your everyday diet. Choose one area to focus on. Make a list of all the steps you might need to take in that area of your life. For example, if it&#8217;s a holiday you want, then starting a savings plan, researching your holiday destination and choosing someone to travel with, could all be part of your list.</li>
<li>Take new steps each day, week, and year, then before you know it, your dream life will soon be your everyday reality.</li>
